I thought tiffany was gone forever. I thought she disapeared after the new inside cd. I dident know she had a new cd overseas. With the help of your site I was able to get it. I just want to say she has brought me and others joy though the years. I think she is the greatest female singer ever. I wonder why her new material isent released here and why her cd's are hard to find. I have them all but how is that anyone interested cant get them. I remember buying her first album in 1987. I just came out of high school. I new she had talent. I am happy she is not forgotten. She is a great person inside and out. Dont ever change tiff. John From: "Dan Walker" <wasis905@hotmail.com> To: webmaster@tiffany.org Subject: OHMYGOD!!! Date: Sun, 17 Aug 1997 21:01:59 PDT I can't believe this! I'm gonna cry! I didn't know there was a site like this! i'm male, 17 next month, and I remember growing up listening to her! i thought she would have married, and children. Hmmm... I'm listening to her self titled album of '87. like, over and over and over again. I have been all day. My GF said I was obsessed! Well, I remember having a huge crush in Tif, but I was young, and a girl was a girl. Now, well, you can imagine the lusterus yernings. *smile* I can't believe it. I'm reading EVERYTHING here, I swear. I'm gonna do that all night. I'm SO exstatic! I mentioned today in a chatroom about Tiffany, and a friend of mine said, yeah, i remember, i have her tape. So, he listened to it. good for him. :) I vowed to another friend that i would find stuff on the net on her if there was anything, and it's a dream come true! I miss rollerskating at `rollergardens` and listening to them play, "I think we're alone now". Is there a CD of her '87 album anywhere? I'd like to try and get that if possible. Though, I listen to all of the songs on the tape, there's no need to fast-forward, but I dunno how much longer the tape has left. it's been listened to a LOT... :) 10 years of use, that's a biggey i'd think. Darn it, I keep looking at the liner notes, and thinking how much my heart is towards her. I guess it always has been, but I never realized how long it's been. I look at it, and feel like kissing it. though that would be silly... :) I saw her on `much music` the night before last, and I was hooked into it all over again. I asked my sister, "WHERE'S YER TIFFANY TAPE!?", she's like, "WHAT!?" After I explained, she's like, "i dunno". So i went through all of her tapes and BINGO! Found it! I've been listening to it ever since almost nonstop. Sorry i've gone away writing this, but i'm so happy, I have tears in my eyes. Does it say where she lives somewhere in this... BIOGRAPHY? :) I'd love to meet her one day... Soon. :) I gotta go check the site, l8r! a happy fan named dan! Just wanted to let you know that your page is pretty cool! I was never a really big fan of Tiffany ( I liked her briefly before New Kids on the Block came out)but a few months abo I pulled out all my old tapes and even bought the "Greatest Hits" (even though I already had all the tapes!!), and i had a blast listening to them and remembering back to my childhood. I think if something was good, why try to forget it? I am not ashamed to say that I still like Tiffany and the New Kids on the Block, and I admire you for staying devoted to the queen of "fun pop"! -Maria Date: Fri, 8 Aug 1997 05:44:33 -0500 (CDT) From: webmaster@softdisk.com (Jason Reed) To: webmaster@tiffany.org Subject: Tiffany Web Site Feedback WhereFound = looking on the net about Tiffany I just recently found out that people still love Tiffany as much as I do. I feel really bad over the years because people started lambasting Tiffany for being so young and being a "bubble-gum music" singer. She is talented in her own way and I am a fan and always have been from the moment I heard her 1st song and saw what she looked like for the 1st time. They called her the queen of re-makes and that was about all she could do they also said. She probably didnt know any better being 15 when she began making her 1st album. She probably just knew she wanted to make it as a singer and those who had connections kind of used her to promote themselves and eventually ended up screwing up her musical reputation. I always wondered what happened to her after a few years till U created this web-site and now it's like she never left and never was gone ! Thanx ! I've forgotten how much I've missed her ! Only a few people on aol know about it. I will be e-mailing a few Tiff fans again. I would really appreciate it if you would let people that visit your site know that I have it. I remember Tiffany from the 80's, but at the time I was into a more cutting edge har rock sound as I am now. I became more familiar with Tiffany from meeting her "obsessed fan" Jeff Turner of Santa Cruz. I met Jeff in the Santa Cruz Library where he is a regular. Anyway, I struck up a friend- ship with Jeff and after several months he told me the story of his dealings with pop star and showed me his scrap book of news clippings about her career and the stalking incidents. It was my first experience with such an avid fan. I was thinking of going to Santa Cruz and visiting Jeff and I began to remember his stories about Tiffany so I hit the search engine to see what was out there. I was impressed with all the material and especially all the stuff about ole Jeff. Like Andy Warhol said, everyone gets 15 minutes of fame. Personally I don't understand how anyone can get so obsessed with a public figure--I guess it is an attempt to fill a deep void in one's life. Other than his Tiffany obsession Jeff's an OK guy otherwise; there's little to indicate when you know him that he has this aspect to his personality until the subject comes up. Anyway it was good to learn about Tiffany and to see what's going on these days. If you ever want to update the file on her "obsessed fan" Jeff Turner you can always find him at the Santa Cruz Public Library standing at the front door at opening time waiting to make a beeline for the newspapers to catch the latest happening for conversation pieces to share with his friends and aquaintences in downtown Santa Cruz. I don't know if he's online; if the library is he is. Once again, good site!
