Nice Mail to the Tiffany Site#3: Aug. - Nov. 1996Here is some of the positive feedback the Tiffany web site has received. Earlier Messages | Later Messages Date: Sun, 3 Nov 1996 01:08:38 -0600 (CST) From: Alan Subject: Tiffany Web Site Feedback CurrentPage = Tiffany PrevPage = web crawler From the moments I heard "I Think You Were Alone Now" blast from my brother's room when I was about fourteen years old, I was hooked by Tiffany. I remember listening at night to the comforting sounds of "Could've Been" as I stayed warm in my house. I recall wishing my radio station would play "Radio Romance" and give "All This Time" even more airplay. I never saw any videos from ensuing albums, and I was extremely disappointed. I, too, felt as if I were one of a handful of fans, and none of the fans seemed to live near me. I hid my tapes in a closet. The world doesn't seem to have the emotional connection with or the great appreciation of Tiffany that I do. She seems genuine and kind, parts of her background seem rougher, and her voice is warm. I love listening to her and wish her success and happiness. She has given me much to be happy about for several years. Thank you. As for the web site, I know that it's terrific. You just can't find things like this anywhere. It's great to see that Tiffany does have a loyal fan base, and that many people agree with me about the magic that she has. I have had an exciting time with this site. I was hoping somebody could help me out with a few questions i have 1) I recently bought a tiffany album "TIFFANY GREATEST HITS" I was wondering if Tiffany had anything to do with this album the making of it, etc. If she did not does she approve of the album? 2) Is it possible to but albums that Tiffany hasn't released in the U.S.???? Like you and so many fans,I was disapointed with the greatest hits album. I too thought that there was going to be at least to new songs. And yes I am disapointed that they put Mr. Mambo in there intstead of a better song. But I think she is working on new songs. I picked up a teen magazine with Tiffany's picture on it. Undernearth it said and I quote" While at Los Angele's House of Blues, country cuties the Smokin' Armadillos took a time-out from extendo-touring just long enough to meet former pop prinThis was obviously written before her birthday(It is the November issue of BB. Formerly Big Bopper). Have taken the Liberty to write to teen magazines and asked for them to do an article on Tiffany. I have also sent a letter to MCA to ask about Tiffany's recordings. But for now I am just happy that Tiffany is in so many peoples hearts. PS what happen to Robert Novak's Tiffany page Date: Tue, 22 Oct 1996 01:08:34 +0100 From: gstrecker@media-net.net (Strecker, Glen) Hi! I just got Tiffany's new US Greatest Hits CD! It really sounds great, especially since I did't have any of those songs on CD until now. Too bad there were no "new" tracks, or previously unreleased ones. My biggest questions: Why was "Back in the Groove" included instead of "New Inside"? It was never even released as a single. And what in the world is Mr. Mambo doing in there??? That was the biggest surprise. Of all the B-Sides they could have picked, why on earth did they choose that one? Ruthless or Can't Stop a Heartbeat would have been much better. Also, I think they should have included some "bonus tracks" from the DND album, such as "If Love Is Blind" since most Americans have never heard it. Despite the few dissapointments, I was extremely happy to walk into the record store in my little hometown and see a "new" CD by Tiffany. I have included a link to you on my homepage. You can visit my page at "http://www.angelfire.com/ks/devstreck/" if you have time. Thanks, Devin Date: Sun, 20 Oct 1996 13:44:46 -0500 (CDT) From: Gonzalez.j1 (j. Now, my musical taste has changed -- a lot -- but I still plan on getting her Greatest Hits release on Oct. 22. Like Debbie Gibson (another early favorite), Tiffany's ballads hold up best for me today -- "Could've Been", "All This Time". I'm glad she'll be releasing the greatest hits album here in the US. I wonder many times if she remembers me! I do remember her, and always try to be updated about what she has done , and that is why I find this page TOTALLY AWESOME!! and for anyone who would like to chat about her, or whatever, feel free to e-mail me!! I used to be a big Tiffany fan and till this day some of her songs still touch me. I don't understand why people have to be the way they are... in reference to the "nasty mail". You can always tell who the mature people are when they go as low as to express their opinion in a very mean and belittling way. I'm sure that if someone made fun or talked bad about their favorite singer it would be a whole different story. Just remember.. If you can't handle the right that other people have to write, express and listen to whatever they want.. then you simply are not mature enough to be reading it. Once again, great web page!!
